Zandragal

It is easy for the other Gods to underestimate the power of Zandragal, the Dragon God of Fire and War. He is a jolly, moody God, often known to back away from fights that he could win. Exactly why he does this is unknown, but most feel that it is an indication of his loyalty to the commands of Krym-nak-mar.

Allies

Zandragal, alone among the Dragon Gods, is very fond of Gods outside of their circle. He is known to be friendly with Milearas, Stram, and Lorion the three Goddesses of the Cycle of Life. Myths also indicate that he is on good terms with Viver and Alintansalin, the Gods of Conflict and Travel respectively.

All priests of Zandragal are under direct orders from their God to support the priests of Erin Bearfist whenever and wherever they can, so long as supporting Erin would not disturb the plans of Krym-nak-mar.

Enemies

Sember and Simel both share (oddly enough) a dislike for the brash and dangerous Lord of Fire. Simel is likely to simply ignore him, while Sember has been known to work especially hard to cause the Dragon extra trouble. The wisdom of this course is open to debate, as a number of stories about the Gods show.

Spirit Servants

Both Dragon and Fire Elemental Spirits serve Zandragal. He is as likely to send an Elemental as a Dragon in response to a Prayer for Assistance.

Priests

The Priests of Zandragal are much like their God - strong, quick, and given to quicksilver changes in temper. They are stable allies, giving everything that they possess in the pursuit of a shared objective. They are also deadly foes, wielding weapons and fire with a joy and force matching that of the greatest warriors.

In honor of their God, most of Zandragal's priests wear garments made of red patches, in as many shades of red as they can possibly find. Many of these robes take on magical properties after a while, a sure sign of the Gods favor.

A Priest of Zandragal will always defer to a Priest of Krym-nak-mar when issues of leadership or strategy come up. They look to Priests of Kormath for answers to questions of lore, and to Priests of Styphon for guidance though the complex riddles of life. Other Priests of the Dragon Rite look to the Servant of Zandragal for aid and support in any dangerous situation.

Restoring Potency

A Priest of Zandragal restores himself to full Potency by either a) engaging in ritual battle with other priests of Zandragal or b) participating in a ritual with two or more priests of one of the other Dragon Gods.
