The Star of Trickery's sanity was restored by means unknown, sometime in the Eastern year 373. A new Dragon Rite, prepared in secret and supported by all four of the Dragon Gods, made an all out strike at the Black Dragon Rite a few years later. With his knowledge of their ways, Styphon was able to root out many of his old followers, sending them to the abyss.
The new Styphon is careful in his dealings with all beings, least they misunderstand his intentions.
Most of the Gods who once supported Styphon are very careful of him these days, as his 'restoration' may simply be another of his devious tricks. The Gods of Dragons, however, welcomed him back into their circle, giving him their wholehearted support.
It is possible, although unlikely, that some of the Dark Gods might aid Styphon, if they were convinced that he were still the evil being that he once was.
Styphon's years of insanity earned him the hatred of many of the Gods, including Alintansalin, Simel, Lagin, Milearas, Nabor, and Rancor. Priests of any of these Gods are likely to interfere with his plans, given opportunity and the resources to do so.
The Priests of Styphon are a strange group of people, intelligent, quick, and gifted with an odd sense of humor. They are also romantics, taking on a seemingly impossible task (restoring the Dragon Rite) as much for their love of the challenge and the honor of the affair. Many of them must keep their allegiance secret, least the reputation of their God cause them to be killed by an angry lynch mob.
The Priests of Styphon nominally look to the servants of Krym-nak-mar for guidance and leadership. They are known, however, for keeping their own counsel, obeying orders only when forced to do so. Given their recent troubles, most are careful to at least appear to be obedient, despite their personal feelings on the matter.
All of Styphon's Priests must have Awareness, Tactics, and Illusion as Vocational skills.
