The God of the Past, Skydo stands on the back right corner of the Square of Judgement. He knows everything that has ever occurred in a person's life, and can answer any historical question placed to him by Kane. Skydo is the most concerned with the actions and intentions of an individual during his life.
Like his brother Gods, Skydo holds himself aloof from the other Gods. Only the other Gods of Death are likely to help him, if Skydo encounters some kind of trouble.
Skydo has a millennia old and blood bitter disagreement with Kormath about the nature and use of knowledge. He, and by extension his servants, are pure scholars, dedicated to the preservation of knowledge for its own sake. Kormath's servants are engineers and applied scholars dedicated to using knowledge in the world and uninterested in things that do not have 'practical' value.
There is also some tension between Milearas and Skydo. Many myths claim to explain this tension, but the Gods involved are not commenting.
The Priests of Skydo are scholars and historians. They usually spend their times in libraries or places of learning, searching the old histories for lost bits of lore. A few are commanded by their God to go into the wilds, recording the stories of illiterate people so that they are not lost to the mortal world.
All of Skydo's servants are under direct orders to disrupt the activities of Kormath whenever possible. This can lead the normally scholarly priests of Skydo into direct conflict with the Dragon Rite, a war-like and deadly cult.
All Servants of Skydo are required to have three History or Lore skills as Vocational Skills. It is expected that they will also develop other areas of Lore.
The Servants of Skydo gain the following prayers and powers:
Skydo grants his priests the following special maneuvers:
