Manjor, God of Compassion

Standing at the front left corner of the Square of Judgement, Manjor seeks to express the desire for life that is inherent in all living beings. He uses the knowledge given him by his brothers Utu and Skydo to argue, often persuasively, that a particular person deserves another chance in the Pattern. Oddly, he seems to actively dislike the Children of Fire, and will never argue for their continuance.

Allies

Manjor is the ally of Lorion, Mistress of the Ocean. Legend states that the two were once lovers, but the two Gods do not speak of it. It is known that Manjor's Priests are welcome at any of Lorion's temples, and at the Cycle of Life temples dedicated to Lorion, Milearas, and Stram.

Other than Lorion, however, the other Gods mostly ignore Manjor.

Enemies

Centuries ago, Manjor interfered with the activities of Nabor, Lord of Illusion and Truth. This interference cost Nabor several hundred servants, including his then High Priest. While Manjor has tried to apologize several times, Nabor refuses to speak with him. The Servants of Nabor plague Manjor at every opportunity, although they try not to reveal themselves or their intentions while doing so.

Priests

The priests of Manjor find themselves wandering Sedena, healing hurts both physical and spiritual. They are often drawn to places where Utu indicates that a great battle will be fought. In such places, they usually establish a small Temple of the Dead and wait for the dead to come. Sometimes, they have to wait for centuries.

A priest of Manjor who turns away from suffering displeases his God. All of Manjor's servants must attempt to alleviate sorrow or pain wherever they find it, at whatever cost to themselves or their God's plans. This causes others to regard them as meddlesome busybodies, a reputation that they have earned.
